Sherida N. Mabon is an Associate in the Litigation Section of Thomas Kennedy Sampson & Tompkins LLP. Her principal areas of practice include civil rights, wrongful death, personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance defense and premises liability. Sherida also handles complex litigation, specifically 42 U.S.C. § 1983 class action claims.
Sherida graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Spelman College in 2008. While at Spelman, she was on the Dean’s List, was selected as a National Coalition of 100 Black Women scholar, and was recognized by the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Sherida graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2012. While attending law school, she was vice president of the American Constitution Society and was a member of the Black Law Students Association Moot Court Board. During law school, Sherida received experience in appellate level criminal defense, while interning at the Office of the Georgia Capital Defender. She also served as an intern for the Honorable Gail S. Tusan in Fulton County Superior Court.
Sherida is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Georgia and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
