Dorothy Paul is an Associate at Thomas Kennedy Sampson & Tompkins LLP. Dorothy’s practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and premise liability.
Dorothy received her Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University School of Law. While in law school, Dorothy had the unique opportunity of representing a Georgia death row inmate in habeas proceedings as member of the Habeas Project. At Mercer, she was active in numerous student organizations, including the Black Law Student Association, the Asian Pacific Student Association, and the International Law Student Association. During her studies, she lived and worked as a law clerk in Sydney, Australia; studying Refugee Immigration Protection Law. Dorothy has also traveled to Argentina and studied Emerging Markets in Latin America.
Prior to joining Thomas Kennedy Sampson & Tompkins, Dorothy represented indigent criminal defendants in misdemeanor matters. As a defense attorney, she developed her skill as an effective trial attorney.
Dorothy is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Middle District Court of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
When Dorothy is not practicing law, she enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
